1928 Nash 338 Reg Special Six Faux Landau Sedan, 4 Door, 6Cyl
owned by Ted O'Brien, pictured on its arrival in Pickering, North Yorkshire.
The car was imported into Denmark around 1930 (Aalborg) and remained there until shipped to England in 2007. It appears to have been unused since the 1960's.
Some numbers are : Engine A58616, Model 7347-11/338, Serial No. A83789. The original Danish registration number was UP22.894. (and as a 'Coupe') The model number seems to indicate a 1928 Regal Coupe but as you will see it is a typical Sedan.
The roof is fabric covered laths. It has a 1929 peak over the windscreen.
The interior has been exceedingly plush with much inlaid woodwork and fine finishing. All seems to be there (even roller blinds on the windows) but has been kept damp for long periods. Aluminium body parts will be needed. The plan is a chassis up restoration over the next 3/4 years.
